grokmirror software package provides framework to smartly mirror git repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grokmirror
grokmirror is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grokmirror package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grokmirror *
You will get with grokmirror package name, version, architecture and description in a table
